ok so ive been reading that the stock stereo for most nissans is pretty crappy because the cd's get stuck alot, mine just did it today, is there any way to get the cd out WITHOUT having to rip it apart?? i know most of the time people answer, get an aftermarket, but thats not my question, my question is, can i get the CD out?? Yes you can. It takes time, but you're going to have to keep trying several times and at different times, lol. It'll eject the disk out eventually, just don't put it back it.

 

So I can't put any CDs in afterwords?? It plays and everything it just won't come out

 

You can get it out (using paperclips, butter-fork, and lots of patience), but never put the disk back into the drive. You won't get it out the second time.

If the eject mechanism in the headunit is bad, which is why it will not eject the disc that is currently in there, then it will still be bad if you were to put in another disc. It's not the disc that is causing the malfunction, it's a malfunction that is causing the malfunction. Any disc you put in will get stuck, so don't put any more discs in there.

 

Just that CD, every other CD will be fine. Try changing up your music selection. Maybe you choice in music offends the Z.

 

Put a burned copy in there so when it gets stuck you dont worry about it.
