Infinite Baffle in a Z

I wonder how it would sound... anyone try it before?
i was thinking, seal up the passage under the strut bar and do Infinite Baffle with my JL W7 10
only thing that may go wrong is the open area ontop of the strut.... but that may just act like a port

If you leave the area between the strut bar and the hatch, that isn't going to really be an infinite baffle now is it? That needs to be sealed off air tight to make it an infinite baffle, as well as any other areas of air leakage from front-to-back of the baffle. The way you have it in the drawing with leaving the area between the hatch and strut bar open will sound like poo poo.
infinite baffle is still an enclosed speaker, it just uses a far larger enclosure aka a trunk..and is built to be far less compliant,., IB drivers are terrible, old technology.. run as far way as you can from that stuff for automotive applications.
