Default Help: hissing noise when Bose is off

When the Bose is powered off, I hear a low hissing/static noise from both the left and right speakers. In other words, I can never get peace and quiet in the car with the radio off.

When I play music, the same hissing noise is in the background - it ruins the music.

Anyone experience this? I have an OEM bose system. It's annoying the hell out of me.

Thanks

Go to the dealer if you have warranty or go to your local audio shop and ask them the question. Unless you want to wait for someone to tell you the answer.

sounds like you have loose ground or exposed speaker wire.

Yah, no warranty.

I need to isolate where the exposed wire is. Hopefully it's in the door somewhere and NOT under the dashboard. It's strange that it's affecting only the front 2 speakers and not the rear.

GRRRRRRRR.
