Default How is you basslink setup/tuned?

I just install a basslink at the stock sub location. And that's it. I have not upgrade any speakers or HU yet.

How did you tune your basslink?

Mine
Gain: 1/4 to 1/3
(If I crank it higher, I almost can't hear nothing form the loudspearker, the HU's internal amp is to weak. )

Crossesover: 50Hz,
(I wanted to put it a 40Hz, but 50Hz is the lowest I can go.)

Bass Boost: Middle
(I don't know what is this, that why I just leave it at the middle)

Phase: 0 degree.

The last. Where did you mount the basslink remote control?
(I know most of you guys have an aftermarket head unit and it should come with a subwoofer control. )

Raise the crossover! It's a low-pass crossover meanning right now you're getting 50 and under only. Play some music that has good bass and vocals, and then slowly turn down the crossover until you can barely hear vocals.

How did you install the basslink at the stock location? Does the front plate that usually bolts the sub come off so you can cram stuff larger than 10inch diameter of the stock speaker back there?

How does it sound? How did you mount it? Power it? Give it signal? Ventilate it?

I am looking for an alternative to building a custom box with fibregla$$. There are so many choices I am going insane.
