HELP....Does anyone know why...........
Someone broke my window into my car and stole my radio and they cut the factory wire harnest for the radio and now my gluster light is not on and the speedometer isn't working but my engine still starts up. Does anyone know what to do to get it to work again? I don't want to take it to the dealer. Anyone got any ideas or information that will help?

I dunno, to take out the oem radio you basically have to take apart the whole center console and center dash. It's a lot of work to get yourself into..

you want help and ideas how to get it to work
get another radio installed
If you don't want to take it to a dealer a stereo shop may be one of the few other options they may have to buy another factory harness to repair yours though.
Even though I paid cash for my car, the dealer (in FL) said they had to have proof of insurance before he could give me a temporary tag for the car. He even called the agent (in GA) after I showed him proof of insurance for the two cars we already owned.
It doesn't seem very likely that PA would have laxer laws than FL and GA.
However, some companies give you several days during which your newly-purchased car is insured just as well as any car you already have insured with them. That gives you the flexibility to deal with an individual who isn't going to ask for proof of insurance or give you a temporary tag like a dealer would.

Stereo equipment to include personal items that have been stolen out of your vehicle can be covered under your home owners insurance, under MOST policies depending on who your insurance company is. It is going to be damn near impossible to troubleshoot and identify your problem without seeing specific damage, not to mention, unless your a duty expert. Sounds to me like you need to invest in a good insurance policy and alarm or some sort of deterant. I would be more concerned with protecting others and myself in the case of a mishap on the road (with no insurance on your part) than worrying about the speedo or lights not working on the Z.

Sounds like they cut the wires to your a/c module (below your deck) as well. Causes your cluster not to work but your hazard lights (e-brake, VDC, etc.) to stay on.
Are you certain? Your insurer should allow a Grace period for notification of new vehicle purchase. In other words if your trade-in is insured your new vehicle is insured.
