How easy is it to blow these Bose speakers? I generally don't turn the volume up past 25, and that's when I'm cruising down the highway with my windows down.
Generally I have mine around 15-20, a lot of people complain there's not enough base and there's a lot of distortion once you turn it up higher. Honestly, there's enough base for me and sound quality is still great at high volumes, but it's probably bc they revised it for the newer models. It still sounds like the day I brought it home from the dealership, only complaint is there's a rattle coming from the plastic around the sub, which started about 6 months ago.
I have a Pioneer D3 and stock speakers installed for a year now. The sub recently started to cut out as if the bass was too much for the stock amp. I am currently looking to disconnect the sub from the amp and go with a aftermarket sub and amp combo.
