Hi guys,

I am building a new setup for my 350z roadster.
Which HU should I get, Alpine IWA 203 or Pioneer 4200? They are both same pretty much the same price and almost the same feature, but the Pioneer got DIVX playback. What do you recommend me?
My system will be.
10" type R sub with Alpine PDX 600.1
6.5 type r component in the front
6.5 type r in the back
powered by an alpine pdx 150.4

If you already went with all alpine, why not just go with the alpine head unit? I personally go with the alpine head unit.

 

on the Alpine.... If for no other reason, the great LCD screen.

i have the Alpine IWA 203, its a nice unit, not complex at all very basic, i have it paired up with my ipod. get the alpine

 

I just installed the pioneer 4200. I can roll around and watch music videos while i drive. =-)

 

I just got the Pioneer 4200, still trying to figure out if it will run ok with my stock nav, hoping it will!

 

Yeah all Alpine sounds cool.
But the new pioneer looks great too. I guess I will have to see them both myself.
Alpine doesn't have Divx playback right?

 

Dont think the Alpine does. Even though I have had lotta alpine HUs, I like the Pioneer and its features.
