I have '03 base with oem radio. Would like to connect my phone to it with cables. I've searched a little bit, but wanted to confirm before doing the buying. It says on that ebay thing you need a Sat button. Your factory radio doesn't have that, so that won't work either.

get the tape adapter one. works good for me, $10. The wireless transmitters sound terrible

 

+1 on the wireless transmitters. always has static

 

get a pioneer avh3100!!! 299 on amazon...it has usb port in the front...and its touchscreen 5.8inch...tons of features! great sound quality even with oem speakers

but i just got done tucking the usb under the shifter and it comes up in the little loose change cubby. all you can see is a little bit of the usb connecting to the HU. no wires, ipod not visible

Mine doesn't have a cassette player.

This is a great deal, I'm just not that big on playing with something like this in my Z.

I just put the Pioneer AVIC-X910BT in my 03 Base for the same exact reason, no tape deck and no aux = iTrip or nothing, which only works 40% of the time anyways. $500 after the $100 mail in rebate...bluetooth, iPhone integration, USB, GPS, voice commands, etc. etc. Would definitely recommend it, just had it put in yesterday and it's awesome

Check out the above link, It's the only thing you need, Costing 0.0 $. I did it & it works like a charm .

 

my unit doesn't have a cassette, I'm not sure this would work. Plus, I don't have tools, skills or patience to do this. I'm sure I would mess it up and throw away the radio
