Default 04 350z speaker/amp upgrade...thoughts ?

Well looks like I have landed on these was curious what everyone thinks about it. Had another short thread getting help and this is what I came up with.

JL sub : 10 3v3
Box: Zenenclosure
Doors: JL C5 650
Amp: JL XD 600/6
HU: current Pioneer Nav <will replace this latter with a non dvd based Nav>

Will post some pics once I get it installed in a few weeks.

That's pretty close to my setup:

Headunit: JVC KW-AVX830
Fronts: JL C5 650 components
Rears: JL C2 650 coaxials
Main amp: JL G4500
Sub amp: JL G2250 (bridged)
Sub: JL 10W3V3 - 4 ohm
Sub case: Zenclosure corner mount box
Front Speaker Mounts: Zenclosure spacers
Cables: JL Audio RCA's / Rockford Fosgate Power / Monster speaker wire
Steering wheel controller: AXXESS SWC (work in progress - it's a *****)
LOTS and LOTS of Dynamat (again, work in progress - it's a *****)

You'll discover all sorts of new an exciting rattles when your subs start to hit.

Have fun with the install

That's completely subjective. The fronts are definitely more important, but the rears fill out the sound. In my setup, I have the fader set to +2 toward the front (out of 6). In my opinion, it sounds noticably better with the rears turned on.

Appreciate the input. Btw was just out in your neck of the woods a week ago. was in Seatle a day before and a day after our Alaskan Cruise on the MS Oosterdam. Been working on the wife to relocate such a nice area out there and I love the cooler weather, lived in Carmel by the Sea,Ca for a 5 yearrs before returning to the east coast. Never been a fan of the summers or the humidity out here. And the Pike Market is jsut amazing with all the fresh seafod and produce.
