I've invested over 2500 bucks in stereo equipment in my 05 base, I have a Kenwood 7"touchscreen ill get u the model number when i get home tonight after work, I also have Kenwood comp. 6x1/2s and 6x9's with a 200w amp powering those and a jl audio w3v2 10"s with a 500w amp slash series for both, and I have 20mm kenwood tweeters, very clean and crisp sound at even the highest volumes, well blow you away.

Do you also own a car that you got for your 16th birthday that happens to have scratches that you want to get rid of? And did you also post on my350z that said car is a 350z?

Nobody makes stereos for the z, your best bet is to have a custom one built and imported from Japan.

the best car radio EVAH!

No CD, but it has everything else:
  • Simple operation… Just a couple of ***** you twist for volume and station selection. You don’t need to constantly dig for the Operator’s Manual to operate the darn thing.

  • Channel selection using the twist **** hooked to a cat gut string, and reliable mechanical push buttons that don’t “forget” channel selections if you disconnect the battery.

  • Fully analog structure/operation with no possibility of failure of any digital components.

  • Easy installation: Just 4 wires (red power line, black ground line, “+”speaker wire, and ”–“ speaker wire).

If you have ever spent a weekend trying to install one of those new-fangled digital H/U’s with about a million wires , you will appreciate this analog radio.

I don't understand why people just yell at others for making a post asking a general question. You could politely say use the search function or help the person out, instead you get 40 posts of complete and utter bull-**** flaming the person; you actually take the time to:
-ONE read the title of the thread.
-TWO click on it,
-Three perform "post reply" and make some stupid comment about the person.
Why don't you save your energy and just not click the link and say "oh another moron making a stupid post"; then move on.

Any-ways there are many options for your car, it would be "preferred" in my opinion to get a double din stereo to fill the enter spot of the old stereo. Now somethings you should figure out is what your budget is, what is the overall goal of your system? Do you want to do a full sound stage or just a few components? Some other things you gotta let us know rather than a simple statement as what's a good stereo/cd player.

So find out what your goal is and respond accordingly, don't worry about the other useless posts in reply to your topic.

Because it's more fun to flame lazy noobs than to be nice to them repeatedly. This **** happens 10 times a day here and sucks for them if they are too thickheaded to realize 99.9% of their questions have been answered numerous times in the 8 years of this site's existence.

+1 on irony.

Quoting John McEnroe (the professional tennis player turned commentator): "You cannot be serious!"

And then you go on with an attempt to answer a question so broad that it makes no sense attempting such an answer…

Just so you understand the folly here, I personally prefer a single-din H/U in the factory slot along with a 7” LCD in the upper/forward cubby. Your suggestion for a double-din unit is not something I agree with, but there are many people who like your idea, and some others that agree with me.

I will respectfully suggest that your answer is almost as silly as the OP’s question.
