Default How to Run RCA Cables to Trunk?

So I have been doing a couple searches (with "RCA cables to trunk", "RCA Cable install", etc) and having no luck in finding any information. I know it has to be out there and hopefully someone can point me in right direction.

I have RCA cables that I want to run to my trunk to power 2 amps. I have the cables routed through the trunk to the cabin. However, I am not sure how to route the cables on the driver's side to behind the center HU console. I have pulled out the HU console and tested my new HU. Everything works. Just want to hide the RCA cables properly.

I think that i have to lift up the carpet by the driver's side door. Dont want to tear it or force something that will break. Any help would be much appreciated.

Install is going well so far but just having these minor issues...

battery is on passenger side ( power wire and remote trigger, turn on wire ) run on the passenger side

RCA or rca's run on the driver side

from head unit directly under carpet behind and under the carpet directly behind accelerator pedal under carpet down driver door sill than remove plactic and run behind seat belt in thru access panel behind driver seat and on thru to hatch

Thanks!

The guy that had the car before me ran the power and remote on wires on driver's side as well.

What is the best way to lift carpet? Do I have to remove the seat?

no to seats you do not have to remove

you do not want wires that carry power running next to RCA = annoying noises and hisses , the rca will pick up noise from being to close to power wire any power wire

remove the driver side kick panel , drivers side sill plate and then the route will be very easy

yup.. theres a white plastic channel under where the seatbelt goes.. the panel that goes over the sound bar and around the quarter window needs to come out, just pull on it.

it will become very clear once you remove this piece.

Removed all the pieces that were discussed. I am able to lift the carpet near the seat belt. However, the carpet on the driver's side near door is around the tab that the door sill connects to. It is very tight and I don't know whata the best way to lift. May need to get a screwdriver underneath it.

So close...

take a small flat head and all those white plastic pieces 1 about every 8" lifts up and away from their points of fastening , than you can simply reverse the procedure

I got my RCAs routed! Thanks for all the help!

Moving on to mounting the HU (Pioneer P3200BT) and my 7" touch screen navi (Magellan 1700) in the center console and getting everything back in the car.
