haha it is so funny because this is a forum and no one cares to participate, even if it involves a 5sec click to vote. Unless it says Vortech, or Technosquare, or how about Crawford blah blah no one cares. this is like highschool (a forum with gruppies) :P

Trust me....it is a BEAST!!!!!!!!

If you think that sub is crazy...check this out....these are the Beolab 5 speakers. They are on the cover of pop. science right now.
They can get as low as 18>(lower than the human ear) and can bust out 5000 watts of power. Each one has a 15" bass unit in it. I turned these things on.....cranked um up after we closed....and I swear the stapler on the desk started to move along the desk!

Want um?...only $16,000.00

In all seriousness I would look at Velodyne subwoofers as well if I were you. They look great and sound awsome...you can get a good one for $500 or less.

Oh yeah....Did I mention these things can image...they send pulses through the room and then a small mike shoots out of the bottum of the speaker to measure the waves.

I thought this was a car forum . Not to get too far off topic here, but if you want silly powerful/acurate home subwoofers you have to check these out: SVS
Unbelieveable company.. with a great product. (can't say enough about them really)

Anyway....I'm going to make this real simple for you, zpeed

IDMax = comparable to W7 at 75% of the price (300 shipped right NOW from Soundomain.com). They're very efficient, and will be more than happy with 600w, and absolutely scream/pound w/ 800w. I think it's the ABSOLUTE BEST you can get, with price as a consideration. IMO, it's one of the best period, but subs like velodyne, illusion audio nd-12, phase linear aliante, etc. are all cleaner (better sound quality). However, they do not get very loud. For the love of God, get an IDMax, and be happy...very very very very happy. IF for some reason you can't afford the IDMax for 300, get 2 ID12v.3's for 225 (sounddomain), for similar happiness.

But like I said before, all subs and no fronts is pointless.

zpeedracer,

wren57 is right. Sometimes you just have to make up your own mind and go buy something. Remember, Opinions are like ********. Anyway, my advice would be to stop posting the same thing in different ways.

If you REALLY want the answers to your questions, go to this webstie www.the12volt.com and post the same question. You will get answers from people who do nothing but car stereo stuff (so they will probably be able to help you more than any of us). See we love our Z, the people at the12volt.com love care audio. SO, get them to help you out, then post pics of everything here so we can tell you how cool it looks

You are correct this is a forum. But forum is not latin for "posting the same thing 100 times in slightly different ways" We all understand you are having a hard time deciding (I was also) but sometimes you have to make up your own mind. Just think, you buy the W7 because everyone on here voted that it was the best, and then you hate it, who you gonna blame, a bunch of strangers that you don't know on the internet? Dude, do some research on your own, find out which one is the best IN YOUR MIND AND OPINION, and then go buy it/them.

I don't want you to think I am flaming you because I am not, but I don't think you really understand how a forum works. You don't post the same thing a bunch of different times, and if you don't think you have, I present the following:

your amp posts:
Which Amp is Best?
Someone Please Help
Huge Custom Install!!

your speaker box post:
Looking for fiber glass sub enclososure
custom sub enclosure
quick ? about sub box

your sub post:
JL Audio W7!
Poll: for those who have heard these subs...
Poll: Best Sub in Existence!

Also, you really don't do what you did before, by TRICKING people into reading your post, what you did here is NOT COOL
you tricking people

One more thing, I was re-reading this post New Speakers, Amps and Subs!!! and it looks to me like you already had a sub/amp combo in mind, so what happened? Oh wait, you also had this... your other choice ....sub in mind, what happened?

Dude, you really need to try and make up your own mind, I have seen you post a kicker l7, an audiobahn 10, w6, w7...and you still don't have any yet. My advice to you, DON"T INSTALL ANYTHING, because you can't make up your own mind about it.

Also, 9 polls, don't you think that is a little much?

And before anyone thinks I am flaming just to be an a$$hole, read this post me defending zpeedracer this is the post where I stood up for you zpeedracer, and defended you!

I am not mad, I just don't think you should go about things the way you are.

Just my opinion on the whole thing.

Macka- I'm one of those people who loves car audio. I bought the Z over the G35 because it's way easier in terms of system installation, and it's a hatch so the sub-bass should be less muffled; I'll need to eq down the low frequencies, but I'd rather eq down than up

go to forum.elitecaraudio.com and do a search for everything you're considering...it's worth the 30min it'll take to get opinions.
