Satnet 480 is an upgrade of Satnet 456 with an extra set of terminals for an image tweeter. This operates in parallel the main tweeter. Both are protected. The film capacitors are larger. Level control is by slide switch instead of jumper. The passive crossover has a very important job in the component speaker system. It needs to divide the duties of precise musical reproduction to the appropriate speakers without introducing any phase shifts or distortion into the music.
Engineering a perfect complement to the highly acclaimed High Definition drivers was an equally challenging task taking months of research with both laboratory and real-time listening testing. The "Phase Perfect" crossovers, called SatNet, are an engineering breakthrough for car audio. They use a very ingeniously designed fifth order, elliptic type network that creates very distinct advantages over conventional "Butterworth" or "Linkwitz-Riley" passive filter topologies. This crossover topology is so unique that this is the VERY FIRST TIME it has ever been used commercially in a car audio application.
Rather than try to use some commercially available "me too" crossover design that blends speakers about as well as trying to fit a square peg in a round hole, we chose to step ahead in crossover design. You won't find this design in any other car audio component speaker system, period. Technically speaking, the SatNet crossover design is a fourth order/24 dB per octave design supplemented by a series first order/6 dB per octave on the front end.
The unique combination of the two creates a virtual 10th order or 60 dB per octave crossover where the critical crossover point between the mid and tweeter is.
The benefits of the design are many. First, the power transition between midrange and tweeter is virtually identical. Phase response problems and polarity shifts are almost entirely eliminated. That makes for a much more natural sounding component system, as if it were that one perfect speaker. The steep roll off of the SatNet crossover also means more power handling for the tweeter and less chance for damage from low frequencies. This means you have less chance of blowing up the tweeters when turning up the volume.
Other less sophisticated passive crossover designs use automatic resetting capacitors, circuit breakers, or even small light bulbs that "soak the power" to make up for the lack of correct power transfer to the tweeters.
You won't find any light bulbs in the CDT "Phase Perfect" High Definition Crossovers. What you will find is the ideal link to some of the best car loudspeakers you'll ever listen to, the CDT High Definition Speaker Systems.

your sets 6.5" mid has a low of 55 hertz
you can set your amps crossover at full pass and let everything thru , and let the cdt crossover filter allow 55 hertz and up pass to the mid
but you could set your amp crossover on high pass @ 55 hertz and let it filter out all signal below 55 hertz , and it won't send anything below 55 hertz to your cdt crossover , if for nothing else , why make the amp work on trying to reproduce signal below 55 hertz that the CDT will filter out anyway
either way it is up to you
simply set it to all pass and demo a bunch of music , then set it to high pass @ 55 and see what sounds better
i would use the cdt crossovers and also the amp set on high pass @ 65-75 , but thats me
it is subjective
the CDT mid's don't do well at 50-80 hertz when non-sealed , i know i have used them alot , the speaker works a lot harder to reproduce 55-80 , rather than 80 +, where the sub woofer take over from there anyway

Crossovers can really complicate things, especially when you start to get into high order or "connect them together consecutively."
Just trust me on this one... I know a thing or two about a thing or two.

if the speakers are 6.5 “ mids and sound good with out straining let them be at all pass
if the speakers sound thumpy you prolly should limit them with high pass I would set it
around 60 or 70hz which ever gets rid of the thunpyness.
If the speakers are bass heavy and need to sound brighter in the front I would use the high pass and set them higher around 100~120 hz
Basically listen to the system and adjust it accordingly

Looking at the pics they don't look much deeper than my Polk/Momo 6.5"s. If you havent already tore down the stock speakers and used the plastic trim that's left over as your speaker mounting point, try it. Much cheaper than buying the pods and worth a try if you're budget minded. Good luck and good choice on your front stage
The plastic spacer trim on the factory speakers is one of the reasons they sound so bad in the first place.

they tend to get kicked from time to time when getting in and out
paint may get scratched
but whatever you prefer
you could do suede to , but vinyl matches the door panel better , suede contrasts better
