Mirror Power Wire installation for radar detector
I bought a fused wire setupmto power my BEL from my mirror. I went to install itmtoday and while it works right, I couldn't get the wires to stay in the power connector to the mirror. They either wouldn't go in and got bent up or they went in and promptly fell out. Any suggestions???

However, as mentioned, soldering is the best way to make sure that it will stay in place and maintain a reliable connection.
i started looking into this after your post this morning.. i see what you mean, theres like probe taps for those deals.. actually pretty damn cool.
My solution would be to put a dab of good ol super glue on them after theyre plugged in well and you verify power.
Reason i say super glue is that its thin, strong in small quantities, and you can easily give it a twist and get it out if you every reeeally have to remove it..

I'm not sure I'd use super glue (which eats away at plastic). They do have spray adhesives or something for electrical wires, though.
