Default Amp Chip? Found this back by Subwoofer

im taking it this is what runs my Sub like an Amp or something...
i looked into it because my Subwoofer goes in and out.. Sometimes just doesn't work. then it works one day all the sudden. took pannel and woofer out and found this connected to a Connector just laying back there... Wtf? someone obviously tampered with this stuff. id like to get some info on what this is... what it does? how can i maybe fix my Sub problem.
Thanks

i foud that it must be a bad Solder or a part funtioning part within this Chip because when i turn the car on and if the Sub doesn't start if push that Gray Square down or slightly twist it starts up. Or if i slap it :P lol. soo yeah
i was planning on getting Subs anyway i have an amp already. was thinking about getting a 10 inch. bolting it into same bolt holes that the Factory amp goes into then Wire it to the Amp i have. so just replacing the Factory Sub with a better one ya know?
whats your thoughts? i don't wanna spend much. i seen the sweet 2 12inch box unter strut support Beam. thats pretty coool but too much. the10" sub is only 50 bucks So yeah.
ideas?

They make 10 inch version of that same box..

And I havent seen anyone bolt the new amp to the same holes, but I have seen a amp rack in that area.. I myself have a custom box that bolts into that spot using the holes from that whole bracket.

you will have to buy some version of a box tho, you cant use the hole left by the factory sub the acoustics will be way off and it will sound like crap.

+1. It's either you going back to stock and getting a used sub amp from somebody here (the cheapest solution), or (which is a lot better idea) get a new HU, speakers, amp and sub with box!

If you put a new sub in the place the old one, it's going to sound like garbage. The Bose sub is a free-air sub, you're going to need an enclosure for your 10" or 12" sub. You can also put the amps under the seat, I put both my amps in the bose sub spot and put two 8's ported in front of the rear strut and behind the speakers.

Alright Thanks guys. Seems how I already got an amp for free. Ill prolly get the 10 inch but I don't want just a dumb box layin back there. Howmuch do those 10inch custom box's for Stut support cost?
My Sub is working fine now. Works everytime I turn on car, Just would be nice for more Kick. Lol
