I used the PA15-NIS: http://usaspec.com/product.php?Produ...eShowProduct=1

I connected it to my factory system and used other items as described in this thread: https://my350z.com/forum/audio-and-v...tallation.html

I have full control of my ipod/iphone through the stereo controls. I also installed a factory XM module and it works with this unit as well my thread for that is here : https://my350z.com/forum/audio-and-v...m-install.html

Hope this helps.

Just get one of those devices that plug into your cigarette lighter and transmit your music on a certain radio frequency.

I've tried one of those Belkin FM transmission units with my iPod in both my Z and my wife's Mazda 3 with very little success. Yes, the unit works, but the sound quality is certainly not CD quality under the best of situations. Under real world driving around conditions it's next to impossible to keep a clear signal without intermittent static bleeding through. I've spent a lot of time trying to find an open frequency to minimize this interference with little success and I live a fairly rural area with few FM stations to compete with.
