Question Possible to connect a 2ohm dvc and a 4ohm dvc?

I've done a search but haven't had much luck.

I have two subs, a 2ohm dvc and a 4ohm dvc that I would like to use . Each sub is rated at 500W RMS. I am running a Elemental Designs Nine.1 Monoblock amp which the specs are 1200W at 1ohms and 900w at 2ohms.

If I wire the two subs in parallel, i should be at 1.5ohms right? Would this be the best way to wire this pair? Any assistance would be appreciated working with this combo. Thanks!

The primary issue is that the subs are going to get different amounts of power.

Your amp is only concerned about the total load it sees and will put out whatever power it's going to put out at the given load. However, once that power leaves the amp and heads toward the speakers, it will be "spit up" according to the individual speaker loads.

More current/power will flow through the 2ohm speaker(4ohm DVC parallel) than a 4ohm speaker. (2 ohm DVC speaker series)

BTW, Using the "reciprocal of the reciprocals" equation, I'm getting 1.33 ohms. (if you series the 2 ohm DVC and parallel the 4 ohm DVC...then parallel both of the speakers.)
