Default In need of OEM Navi system's CD, 2004 Touring

Title explains it all. Just bought the car, and it's got an OEM Nav system, but the previous owner lost the disk at some point. I'm wondering if there's somewhere that I can go to burn the disk, or buy one for cheap. Thanks!

Good luck on your request.

There are plenty of people who claim to have the disks and the ability to duplicate these. These individuals will offer to send you a clean DVD for a price.

What you will probably get is nothing or a DVD that is not the right version for your Nissan navigation product. The seller always claims to have the latest version or the version appropriate for your device.

Most of these people are trolls who only want to steal from you.

I have the latest version that I bought from the company Nissan refers you to... my DVD Nav doesn't eject the old unit so I'm SOL but I updated to another Navi head unit. I can sell you the one I have if you'd like.

For anyone that's interested, I contacted Zenrin, a company that I was told sold replacement Nav Dvd's. They redirected me to a company called NavTeq, who sells the updated DVD for $149.00, and after shipping and tax, it was $170.

Beats the dealership's quote for $330...

Once I get the dvd and make sure it works and everything, I am going to attempt to duplicate it. If I am successful, I'll sell the original they sent me, I'll sell it for about $100, so stay tuned.

I didn't know they were still coming out with new discs since I bought 6.1 (assuming you are buying Ver. 6.9). Let me know when you're ready to sell.

Huh, I've never heard of NavTech. That sounds like a killer deal though! I too was searching for a Nav DVD replacement a while back and was almost going to plunk down the $330+ price tag that the dealer charges for it, but ultimately I bought it for $266 from nissanpartszone.com. At the time, I thought it was a pretty solid deal

Just as a FYI, the OEM part number is 25920-CR95A for '03 model year Zs. I have no idea why Nissan charges so much for something as innocuous as a DVD

Anyway, keep us posted on how the burning goes!

I'm assuming it's because they know that they can get away with it, lol.

An Advan, yes it's the 6.9 version.

Hmmm…

Join date September this year… offers to sell a navigation disk inexpensively (if you think $100 is inexpensive)…

How many times have we seen this here? How many times does it take for people to learn how to avoid rip-offs?

^Besides he can't offer burned Navi discs on this forum... it's punishable by death or a ban.

I'm a new Z owner, just fixing all the little stuff that was wrong with my car. Slightly offended that I just got called an internet scammer.

Also, I wouldn't sell a burnt copy, I'd sell the original and use the burnt copy myself...

I'm sure that it's not even possible to burn it anyways, or else I wouldn't have just dropped $170 on a DVD...

Not sure where to start with this one.

1) Asking to replicate a copyrighted item is not permitted

2) Offering to sell a burned copy is a also not permitted

3) If you want to sell your original copy make a marketplace thread once you are able meet the marketplace requirements.
