I am trying to find a good new head unit. Can people post some pics of what they have and the brand and type so i can see what they do. I wanna be able to control my ipod from the screen.

I have the Alpine iXA-W407. It's discontinued, but the current equivalents are the INA-W9000BT and INA-W910. I've been really pleased with mine.

 

Why is there so much hating on this forum?

 

Because some people want others to do the work for them. This seems to be a trend now-a-days in many aspects. I see it at work all the time. Just look at the amount of threads that are started and immediately derailed because people can't think for themselves. They want decisions made for them.

There are plenty of videos on youtube of many head units. Please search.

 

I’m not a “hater.” In fact I do reply to questions, but I respond appropriately. Asking for opinions and pictures of H/U’s from such a large community with varying preferences and budgets is ludicrous. There are literally hundreds of choices. A simple search shows a plethora of devices with lots of good discussions.
