About to buy the Focal Access 165 A1 component set for $170 but I wanted to make sure I'm getting the best bang for the buck before I pay the $$$

Whatever components I get will be hooked up to my Zapco C2K 2.5 amp. And I'm running a 12" Image Dynamics IDmax sub powered by a Zapco C2K 6.0 amp. HU is Alpine CDE-123. So.. are there any better components out there around that price range?

 

The Focals you mention provide exceptional sound. I doubt you will find anything much better at that price. --Spike

Really hard to beat focals. I blew my set recently after 6 years when my gain was adjusted up to high on my amp by accident. I dodn't want to drop $800 on some K2Ps so I replaced them with a component set of Hertz Mille 165 that I placed in Wickey CAS pods. Sounds great.

 

Yea I've been eyeing up those door pods..... I just wish they weren't so expensive

 

it's worth it i think. speakers sound much better. the speaker grill on the door covers a lot of the speaker.

 

Yea I took off the stock speaker grill today and I was like... They could've at least made all those tiny holes open instead of just half..

mmmmm they got delivered yesterday afternoon. they look very nice my head unit should be here tomorrow... and hopefully my door pods come in next week, then IT'S ON!
