Default Aftermarket speakers.

I have an 03 Z and am planning to replace the stock front door speakers soon considering they've been in the car for, give or take, ten years now.

I'm thinking about going with the Alpine SPR-60 6-1/2" 2-Way Coaxial Type-R speakers.
Are coaxials the way I should go up front and will I need an amp for them?
Thanks.

They will be fine. Each is driven by a single channel - no multi-channel input needed. No external crossover needed. Do you need an amplifier? Haven't the faintest idea what you have or do not have.

Thanks for the input.

As far as what I have and needing an amp, the only thing not stock about the audio in my car is that I have an aftermarket head unit.
