Default Need major help or straightforward fix, speakers?

So, have JL components I installed and cut off reused factory plugins...cant find crossovers so I figure I will solder and wing it w/o crossovers.

Decide to not puch system through amp (another long story) and just use DVD double Din, 60x4 and when I turn on system, tweeters are barely getting juice and my rear JL coaxials that were fine, are now crackling....wtf, def need help here. Car audio is not my strong suit.

Head unit was fine, and so were factory components and coaxials before this debacle.

Fixes, answers, much obliged folks. Thanks.*

More to the point, can these even be run without the cross over, or am I fugged into buying some more JLs just to get the crossovers?

Thanks again....and yes I realize off the deck they will be drastically underpowered

You didn't need to tell us that car audio is not your strong suit , as I realized that after reading your post . You cannot run components without crossovers . A crossover sends the proper frequencies to the proper driver . You are sending a full range signal to a tweeter for gods sake , and the same for the midbass . I would buy some crossovers and start over , and have someone that knows what they are doing help you .

The model is JL TR-650csi and theyre stating when asked from online retailer

"The tweeters have a capacitor in line that acts as a crossover. I hope this answers your questions. Thanks"

So....? *

From JLs site
"An inline 12 dB / octave high-pass filter is pre-wired onto the tweeter connection harness, which connects to the woofer terminals, eliminating a bulky outboard crossover network and simplifying installation."

So I guess I didnt lose them, wtf, but power is still being sent only there?

I can only highly recommend turning off your radio and taking your car to someone that knows what they are doing if you plan to keep your speakers
