Default Replacing my Bose HU with a non BOSE.

Hey guys,
I HATE THE CRAPPY BOSE OF 350Z. Nissan probably paid them 20 bucks per head unit; hence the "superior" quality.

So one of my CD's wont ejject from the bose and rather than paying a guy to remove the radio and take it out (still not sure if the ejecting motor malfunctioned or the CD got stuck)
I'm replacing my headunit with an aftermarket HU, I can't afford to replace all of the system as of now, so I will just stick to the same speakers/amp/sub.
I did a little research, and found out that I need a harness, now when I googled some people used this harness ROEM-NIS2. This is like 40 bucks. I came across a harness for 10 bucks on ebay HERE Will this work? the other harness has some sort of a fancy adapter attached to it, is it just a rip off?

also, what should I look for in a head unit when buying? e.g I saw some guy mention we need at least 4 pre amp volt e.t.c. I'm not going for a double din, just temporary single din for now. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated too.

Thanks.

just about any head unit will do. go on http://www.crutchfield.com/S-GgWVF1k...rselector.aspx this site will help you a lot. I recomend getting one with bluetooth hands free calling if you drive a 6spd. Asfar as the harness you get what you pay for 99% of the time.

I use the ROEM-NIS2 works great, worth the price unless you want to swap out all the speakers and run your own wires
