Default Detailed question about what speakers to get. (I did my research!)

My current "dilemma" if you will:
I am a music junky and as of right now the music experience in my car could be much better.
Long story short, the bass in my car is amazing (due to my JL subs).
However, the vocals, singing, basically every aspect you can think of when I am listening to music
in my car (with the bass being the only exception) is horrible.
These stock speakers are sub par; average at best.

The sound quality of my music in my other car (93' Maxima) has an incredible, loud, vibrant, and clean sound.
It however lacks the bass my 350z has. So what I am looking for is the best of both worlds.
What speakers can meet my JL subs half way to create a glorious sounding harmony of music?

Here are some details to help you help me, and give you a
general idea of what I am looking for and what I would enjoy.

My car?
2003 Enthusiast.

My budget?
$100-$300.

The music I listen to?
Rap, EDM.

Am I a basshead?
Yes, I love bass, but that is not a concern, because I currently have 2x 10" JL Subs in my trunk that explode bass out my butt crack.
I am assuming I do not need speakers with heavy bass since I have subs already? But PLEASE correct me if I am wrong on that note.

Which speakers are you looking to replace?
I plan to replace the door speakers and tweeters. (My rear speakers have been disabled).
If the tweeters are not necessary that's fine, but if you think the overall music will sound better
with good tweeters then by all means please recommend however you'd like.

Are you amplifying or running off headunit?
I will run it off my head unit, my amp is currently being used by my JL subs.

OEM? Aftermarket? What is your head unit?
My head unit is an aftermarket piece; it's called the Pioneer DEH-X5500HD.

If there is anything I forgot to mention or any additional information that
would be of help to you, please let me know.
Thanks for all your help in advance, take care!
I will frequently come back to check all suggestions on what to get and opinions on what to do.
Much appreciated. Take care!

well it all depends on you. with music that has alot of bass and not much vocals i would recomend the jl componet series(c3-c5). jl seems to handle lower hz levels than most componet speekers. if your looking for a bit more clearity i would recomend the BA pro60se these speakers cant handle the lows as well as the jl's do but it handles it's own on the clearity end. I have the BA's and i listen to everything from rock to rap and it sounds great.

If you want to replace the door speakers but will not drive the replacements with an external amp, do not use component speakers (separate mid and tweeter).

You should install a decent coaxial speaker (Infinity is a good choice) in the front door.

Hey bro. I have the Rockford T series 6 1/2's in my roadster and they sound great. Components in the front with tweeter in the factory location where they fit perfect, coax in the rear. Everythings in factory locations. crossover set for the comopnent tweets at -2db and off axis and they sound great. I have them powered by an Eclipse 100x4 amp which I plan to replace. I too have a JL (10w3d4)sub in a box mounted in the factory sub location because I need all the trunk space I have but I plan to rethink that due to the sub box doesnt do the sub justice. I was worried about having my sub in the trunk because of the space between the cabin but after reading your post I'm really rethinking. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the help so far guys keep it comin
Turboak, here is what my setup looks like.

Now keep in mind I still get by with the trunk space I am given,
However limited that may be. Our space preference may be different though.

To balance things out with two JL 10"s your going to need an amp on some front components / separates I'd think. Deck power and coaxials ain't going to cut it based on your description of the current bass level

I've run Polk and Infinity in the past with good results. Tweeters are a real personal choice so get a listen or read alot of critical reviews. Currently I'm running JL C2 tweets paired with Infinity Kappa mids because the Infinity tweets were HUGE ugly things. The Kappa mids aren't as smooth as the Polk MMs in my last car, but they get plenty loud. The JL tweets sound perfect to me, but they might be a bit tame / weak for other listeners since they are small soft domes.
