radio turns on randomly
hey just bought myself a 2004 350z! super excited but I have a few issues already
first of all my head unit keeps turning on randomly when the car is off. sometimes it doesnt turn on but every so often I will come out to the car in the morning and the clock and radio will be on :/ the radio is completly stock so I dont see how this could be happening.
my second problem is that it seems like I am getting ALOT of static from my stock subwoofer behind the driver seat, however I only get the static when listening to the radio. CDs and tapes work fine. does anyone know what my problem could be?

you have a stock radio but what you do not know is what the car possibly went through from the previous owner. as you would soon find out, guys do a lot to these cars, some do it well others f**k up. in most cases they restore car back to stock before selling. your radio uses accessory power so if your radio turns on even without a key, you have something interesting going on

ya im really confused to whats going on. i basically ended up just going to an audio store and buying a new deck and im just gonna get it installed by them. if the same problem keeps happening i can say its there fault. better then spending 120 bucks an hour to get a nissan tech to look at it lol

so i put the new deck in and same problem. iv noticed that alot of the time it seems to come on when i close the door. were these cars equipped with some sort of sensor that turned the radio off or on according to if the door was open or closed? also iv read some stuff about BCM, could I have blown something in there and that be my problem?
