Default I want to get a Valentine One... ... ...

But i have no idea how to install this in my Z! I definitely dont want to get it if i have to do the really simple *Plug into cig hole and run the wire up to the windshield* ... I've checked out a lot of V1 topics and how ppl mount them in the rear w/ remote display in front ... or mounting it beisde the rear view mirror ... etc etc ... But i dont trust myself to do all that wiring / modification ...

Does anyone have any suggestions? Are there any places that hardwire install them for you? Anything?

Thx

you local car stereo store will probably run the wires for you. There's a few different ways to do it.

I tapped into the cig lighter power behind the rear console and ran the cord under the center console up to the dash. From there, the cord is under the passenger side of the dash, up the A-piller and along the windshield. The V1 is affixed with the suction cups, center of the windshield, just under the rear view mirror.

The easiest hardwire method would be like I set mine up, no special brackets or mounts are needed, and all wiring can be done from the front...the wire tucks int hte roof liner easily and the hardwire lines run down the A-pillar. Some people also have had success running the power/ground lines into the power/ground for the rear view mirror... this is easy too.
