Default Mounting depth??

I looked just about everywhere for the answer to this question I apologize if it is somewhere in the forums. I recently had all my stock speakers replaced with some pioneers that I just bought from Amazon and they suck, had good reviews but there is absolutely no bass whatsoever. I need to get new ones.

What is the maximum mounting depth for the door speakers and for the rears?

Any suggestions for speakers with deep bass that will fit?

^^ I wasn’t able to install a speaker with a 68mm (2.7”) depth from wall measurement in the door. It looked to me that 61mm (2.4”) is the maximum depth for the doors. I ended up installing a speaker that was 56mm (2.2”), and that fit with a little room to spare.

The slot for rear speakers allows plenty of depth.

How do you know the speakers "suck"? Ever think maybe it's the signal you're sending to them?

You can't get strong bass from door speakers. You will need to add a subwoofer to make it sound right.

Yes you can. My doors get down to the mid 40's fairly nicely. I can vibrate the rear view mirror with just the doors.

My mids are 62mm and I had to use 1" spacers to get them out far enough to clear the window. If you don't want to roll the window all the way down you can use a much bigger mid.

92K1500, what kind of speakers do you have in your doors and are they amped?

Rainbow SLC265.25NG and yes, 100W per door. I have everything needed to run active but I haven't gotten around to doing it yet.

Ok, but not on headunit power as OP is suggesting.
