Aftermarket HU with orig. BOSE amp
Hello,
I am now install new audio head unit into my 350Z.
My new HU is Pioneer SPH-DA120 with preamp RCA outputs.
I do connect HU RCA outputs into BOSE amplifier input.
He plays it very quietly. I have to give volume to maximum, so it played a normal volume.
It is possible to connect the power amplifier into the speaker outputs on HU? Consequently reduce output power with resistors?
Thank
Best Regards

Since the Bose Amp uses balanced differential inputs your aftermarket headunit will need to go through a converter. I used Rockford Fosgate RF‑BLD . You will need 2 of these, 1 for the fronts and 1 for the rears. These Line output converters will give you full volume and they sound great.
