Default No sound through speakers?!

Ok so my wife bought me a double din, touchscreen, unbranded chinese radio. I just got an 04 350z last week it came with an aftermarket single din in it. The single din worked periodically if you held a finger on it but all sound worked. Just installed the new head unit today and I have no sound at all. All wiring is done per the diagrams and the car does not have the bose system. Do the non bose z's have a factory amp that I'm not seeing? I've checked all the fuses and none are blown. I'm completely lost. Please help thanks Deven.

You always need an adapter of some sort to interface with the Bose stuff. Might be a problem with the headunit you have, though.

I don't have the bose system. Are there any more amps I'm missing for the non bose cars? Sorry for the double post.

Sorry, misread the non-Bose part. Time to get a meter and start troubleshooting. The speakers, wires, etc. The OEM speakers certainly fail on a regular basis.

I just did a non bose, you need to power the amp, yes it has one being non bose. Just had the same problem.

Hopefully you didn't chop up all of the wires when they sell the adapter plugs for a few bucks
