Default Tweeter help no sound coming through =(

hi im currently doing my tweeters i got my components to work but not my tweeters i gutted the entire bose system out, and i read just about every 'tweeter' thread there is on this site and i am now totally stumped =(
i have jl xr650 components and they come with tweeters

i first tried to test out the tweeters by using the front left + - from the head unit into the input in my crossover then output into my tweeters
btw if it matters i spiced the wires for my tweeters there are no plugs like the stock on just wires, anyways this attempt failed i got nothing

second try, i read on another thread that i needed to tap into the stock tweeter wire and put that into the input tweeter then output it into my new tweeters again i got nothing

can anyone help me? thx

Sounds like the tweets are blown already.

If you have an ohm meter put it on the 1X setting and read the resistance across the coil. A blown tweeter would read infinite.

did they make a little blip of sound when you first plugged them in ... like just for a millisecond and then stopped?

Head Unit ====== crossover //
........................................ \\=========== midbass
