I have the nazar fiberglass sub box painted and the thing slides all over the place. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, what did you do to stop the movement? I have had one amp fried because of it!!! I need a fix.

These are 10" cerwin vega-max dual voice coils and yes, the box has to be removed to get to the spare.

I guess that's what I get for ordering on line. I just miss out on all of the perks of locality!! Was I suppose to figure these things out myself? Oh well. The show must go on. YEAH!!!!!!!!
I had the same problem, although I only have two, JL 8W3v2's in the Nazar built enclosure.
To solve the problem, I first used masking tape to temporarily mark-off where the enclosure should stay on the Z carpet it lies on--just marked off the outline. Then I removed the enclosure and the Z carpet. Next I placed double-sided carpet tape just inside the masking tape area--ie only where the enclosure will rest. Then, I put the enclosure on top of the double-sided carpet tape. It stuck like a mudda fuukka. Finally, I placed the carpet and enclosure (stuck to eachother) back in the car, and removed the temporary masking tape. Now, it doens't slide at all.
Oh, you don't want to put any carpet tape on the edges of the carpet, b/c it's already thicker there than in the center of the carpet. I'd say there's about a 3/4" rim around that piece of carpet that's a little thicker than in the center part. It's obvious when you look at it.
