Unhappy My CD is stuck in the stock CD player

Can anyone help me? My CD is stuck in the stock CD player. When I hit the eject button there is a lot of winding and clicking. I tried to look inside but the gap is too small ...so no shot at just grabbing the CD. Anyone have any bright ideas

Take it back to dealer. The changer may be out of line.

The same exact thing happened to me with the very first CD I put in the player. It made a god awful noise when I hit the eject button. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the unit. The dealer however would not try to get my CD back, they said that the repair place would take the CD out and send it to me. Well I thought that was the end of that CD but they did actually send it back to me. Too bad that the CD was all chewed up from the broken eject mechanism. My new player has not given me any problems except that I have to hit the eject button twice to get the CD to eject far enough to get it out of the player. Does anyone else have this problem? BTW I do not have the Bose system I have the $1.98 Player that comes with the track model!

Check with your kids, if you have any. My daughter once used my cd player as her piggy bank. When I brought it to the dealer to have it fix, they gave me $.75 back.

Probe it with another blank or crappy cd while pressing eject. It may push the lowering mechanism into place alligning it enough to eject your stuck CD.

These Stock OEM cd players usually have a problem with burnt CD's that have heavy labels or certain CD's that have too much texture on the printed side.

good luck
