I only put holes through things I knew I could replace if needed.
Like that window ABS piece, and the glovebox pieces.

I put a Small 10" in the back with the Sub pointing to the back window, it sounds realy sweet tight bass but it looks like somthing that would go in a ford pickup :\ so I have the local "small shop" trying to find me somthing for the Z-Bar area.

Any shots of the speaker install process, but from further away? I need a full shot of the bare door.

I will get that for you, I need to tear down the passanger door completly and I will take pics, The spacer I am using is a hair to tall and the door speaker on the passanger side only pops when the bass kicks, not due to over loudness, its set at 140Hz so there shouldnt be to, to much bass, but the fact i can see it hitting the door panel.

How big is your spacer, that now it hits the panel?? I'm putting 8's in the doors, so I'm trying to figure out how I'm gonna do that...muahaha. Maybe sand down one side so it's angled differently? Thanks in advance.

Man, lookin good!

You're like the 4th person I have seen with those Type R's in the door. I tried for like 5 hours to install those so they didn't hit the window, and the door panel would go back on correctly, and had no luck!

I used the stock speaker as my "spacer" and the magnet assembly was about 1/16th an inch away from the window inside, and the door panel would have been TOUCHING the speaker surround itself. Did you do anything special to install those?

I went to the local audio shop and they sold me a pack of 1" spacers (18.00), look at the top image I placed sticky weather striping around both side of the spacer (Lowes 7.00). Next I took the screen from the Type R speakers and poked them out ( brother showed me this trick) I took the speaker ring and turned them upside down and placed them on that one inch spacer.

so now its almost 1.5" spacer.

Then mounted the speakers using a bolt drill (reason: so i didnt slip a "screw" through the speaker)
Although I drilled before the speakers were set in, that was my reason if I were drilling while speakers were in.

I marked where the door panel was hitting the speaker spacers on both sides, I then took small wire cutters and cut the inside of the door panels (took 3 min). Next as I mention above the spacers made the "door panel original speaker screen" poke out on the bottom, there is a small plastic "molded" clip I cut that one off. and thats it !!@
