Default Not enough Power?

So I am getting some Focal 165K2P speakers for my JL Audio 500/5 amp. The nominal power for the speakers is 100 Watts and that's what the amp has to the front channels. I realize that more power would be a bit better, but I don't intend to blast the damned thing all the time. Is this setup OK or is there a real problem with running this combination(i.e. heating up the amp, really less than clear sound)?

Your help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Jason

That'll be fine, assuming you connect the Focals to the front (100w) channels of the 500/5.
