Default Infinity Basslink T - Heard of it?

I just finished selling my JL 250/1 amp and JL 10w6ae because basically i couldnt find a decent box to fit the sub and i didnt want to fork over $200+ for a custom box. Anyway, i just ordered the new Infinity Basslink T. I was wondering if you guys have heard of it? i believe its very new on the market. Here's a pic :

I am sure a lot of you guys know about the infinity Basslink, the original powered 10" that puts out 200watts RMS. This thing is more bad@$$, putting out 250watts RMS. So far i have 3 ideas as to where i will mount it, either on the spare tire side of the strut bar facing the back, on the other side of the strut bar facing the back, or possibly proping it to be held up between the strut bar and the plastic wall behind the seats facing the ceiling, thought that might look cool, and i also like how the looks of this unit matches the Z a little better than a lot of other stuff on the market. the dimensions are about 40" x 7" x 14". Let me know what you guys think.

I don't know if it's feasible, but if you could mount it flush within the glove box/stock sub location - going across facing the front of the car - that would look pretty smooth.

I think it would take substantial (and difficult) modification to the casing. But having those brushed alum. circles behind the seats would look cool as ****. Plus, I don't know what you have installed in that area already.

Please post a few pics once you have the Basslink installed. I am thinking about going with the same option. Let us know how it sounds. Thanks in advance!

It was $330 shipped brand new from ebay, although it retails for $575+tax/shipping.

Yes there are a lot of difference between the Basslink T & Basslink X: The T has 2 passive 10" radiators rather than one putting out 250W RMS rather than 200W RMS, along with a 250W RMS amplifier instead of the 200W RMS amplifier. I know the X comes in clear, im not sure if its only clear. i believe the T is longer but not as deep, while the X is more of a square shape.

Basically the T hits harder and looks better IMO.

Can the T be mounted by just laying it down on the carpet? Does it have feet like the Basslink X?
