Questions on Online Audio Retailers
This is my first post! Hey everybody!
I am trying to figure out my audio situation, or lack thereof. I want to get some Diamond Audio Hex s600s component speakers (among other stuff) from an online site, yet I am worried about the quality of some online sites. Has anyone received Diamond Audio products from an online retailer such as www.boostcaraudio.com or www.etronics.com? What can I expect from a site such as this? The service representative at Diamond Audio had many negative things to say about online retailers. Thanks so much in advance. This forum rocks!

I agree with everyone else about www.etronics.com
I would also recommend www.sounddomain.com or www.audiooutfitter.com and even www.crutchfiled.com

I am going to get all my thoughts together before I post. The only downfall to buying from these online places is that they are not authorized dealers of the products they sell. Because of this, the mfr will not honor their own warranty if you purchase their products from one of these nonauthorized dealers. Some of these resellers will honor the warranty, but its just up to the reseller. I do know that Crutchfield is an authorized dealer for the products they sell.

Thanks all for your input. I think I'm gonna brave one of the online sites and try the install myself. I think I'm going to go with etronics.com for the component speakers, since that seems to be the concensus. I will probably be ordering the Alpine CDA-7998 from Crutchfield since they give you the free mounting kit and stuff, have the manufacturers warranty, and have an awesome price on this particular head unit! Thanks again everybody!
