Guys,

How hard is it to run a power line from the car battery straight to the stock location behind the seat? I would like to hook up a Basslink soon at bose sub location.

What do I need? Also, if you hook up to the car battery, would that be "live" output all the time? Wouldn't it drain the battery?

I am a newbie. I read numerous posts, but not to much detail to it.

It is EXTREMELY easy compared to a lot of cars that I have installed in. Just follow the instructions from the following post. As far as it staying on, you have to run a remote turn on lead to the basslink to turn it on and off with the ignition. This can be done by finding a 12 volt switched line at the fuse box or any other location.
