Default Where do ya'll ground the HU?

I'm still having this damn whining noise that is bugging da crap outta me.
I even tried running a groundwire from the amp and grounding it together with the ground point where I ground the HU.

Should I run a ground wire from the battery to the HU?

Or which spot did ou guy ground the HU ?

Thanks

sounds more like a problem with your RCA cables picking up engine noise than grounding. The ground to your amp should be short (6")

Well I tried running shielded RCA hanging above the seat and away from everything else.. and still got it.

The amp grounding is 6" short and to the chasis..
The amp wont make whinning noise if not hooked to the deck.
Tried this by playing off a palm pilot

I grounded my HU to one of the bolts on the shifter.
