My installer has that part on order from PAC-Audio for me. It came in, but they recalled all of them back to the factory. I should be getting mine and installing it as soon as it becomes available. I will post a review when it is up and running.
It seems like the perfect solution. It also provides 2 auxiliary inputs (for me it will be my sat. radio, and an rca-->1/8" phono jack cable that I have connected to my ipod)

The folks at PAC Audio are working on one for radios that are satellite ready but don't have satellite radio. My 04 ZR Touring has this radio - it has a CD, Tape and RADIO buttons. The RADIO button toggles AM, FM1, FM2, SAT1 and SAT2. The PAC audio adapter is supposed to give you 2 AUX ins. I emailed them to see where I can buy one, but haven't heard from them. The part number is AAI-NIS. Their website is here .

ZBoater...I've got a 04 Roadster but I don't think the radio is XM capable....you can tell this by simply toggling through the RADIO button; AM, FM1, FM2, SAT1 and SAT2? I don't think mine has the SAT1/SAT2.

The part uses RCA inputs if I remember correctly. You could connect an ipod to it by using a cable like this:

It would just plug into the headphone jack of the ipod.

This Florida firm sent me an email saying they have the input adapter out on the market -- however, it only works with the stock radios that have the SAT button = which I believe is only some 2004 models, at least according to Courtesy Nissan.
