I am aware that you can purchase it from the valentine1 website, but is that the only place you can purchase it. Also what is the most current version of the V1 available.

I am looking to give myself a gift, a radar detector. I hear the Valentine 1 is one of the best you can get. The next closest one is the passport 8500.

They only sell direct. You can find them on e-bay, etc. but you get no warranty.

 

I think version 1.8 is the latest. You're better off getting it from valentine because the warranty does not transfer
