Default Bose audiop on/off ???
One of the options in the Bose options is AUDIOP. The options are on and off.

Can anyone tell me what this does?

ON: Turns the stereo up as the cabin gets noisier. OFF: No intervention automated.

turn off that audio pilot until you get a chance to rip that horrible system out!
