i just installed V1 radar and XM delphi skyfi into my car. comments and suggestions welcomed!

i have the V1 temporarily moutned with the suction cups to my front windshield. want to mount it under my mirror. which mounting bracket do you guys recommend? need a new location for my concealed display......any suggestions?!




mounted my XM delphi skyfi in the navigation storage bin. however, the SR1X antenna i bought is defective. plus, it was ALOT larger than what i thought it would be. TERK is replacing it with an XM3 for me under warranty. waiting for it to come in the mail. so, temporarily, i have my XM delphi roady installed in my car as well and i painted the micro Xm antenna so it will blend in better. so, when my new antenna comes, i'll paint that one too! let me know what you guys think!

I have the Mike Peronek under mirror mount and really like the V1 there. I don't need the remote since it is easily seen under the mirror.

The SkyFi looks good there.

Why did you go with the SkyFi? I put an XM Commander there and it looks like it belongs in the car.

 

thanks mkg65, i had the skyfi in my mercedes s-class before and the delphi roady i bought for my house. was too lazy having to take out the skyfi and bringing it home to listen to XM =P

 

I have one of Mike's under mirror V1 mounts, I never used it I went with a different setup. I'll sell it for what I paid.

 

Definitely Mike's is the best under mirror mounting bracket solution I've seen. I have it and it looks great and obviously does the job.
