HELP!! AMP popping sound at shutdown?
I just had Circuit City install a Sirius Audiovox PNP2 receiver in my 2004 350Z. I have the Bose HU, JL 300/4 amp, Infinity & Kenwood speakers + an Infinity Basslink. Everything was running perfectly until the PNP2 install. I love the Sirius programming. However, everytime I shutdown the ignition (even w/ the PNP2 & HU alreadyoff). I hear a delayed popping sound at the rear. Circuit City said it was the amp shutting off. It never happened before so they must have done something with the connections that is causing it. Any assistance from anyone is EXTREMELY APPRECIATED.

is the popping from your subwoofers? if so a possibility is the input sensitivity is set too high on your JL Amp (assuming you don't have a remote turn on since JL doesn't need it). if it is set too high your sub will play for a second when you turn the car off because the amp will stay on for 15 seconds and i guess turning off the car sends some sorta signal.
anyway if that is the problem just add a 12volt remote turn on.
anyway if that is the problem just add a 12volt remote turn on.
