Default 2004 LCD (updates)

**Yes thier are many threads on this but thier all old or off topic**

Im looking to get the whole video setup and am looking to get it setup in the nav pocket. Im asking people who have a 2004 and have NOT gotten the 2003 nav cubby.

** Prefferably with two video inputs **

Which LCD screens are perfect fit?
Which LCD screens require slight mods?
Which LCD screens require heavy mods?

And of those which are best quality / size.

I bought the Clarion VMA-7191 (7" screen). I am going to take it out of the casing and mount it in the nav. pocket this winter. It may take a little extra work compared to some other screens, but the clarity of this screen is excellent. It also has 2 inputs.

That probably didn't help you much....

there is no monitor that will fit the 2004 us spec pocket. The only way to get a monitor in it is to cut the very back out of the pocket and mount it way back there. Now I tried this, first off it looks like **** in the car. It does not look clean at all. It sits way back in the dash and while you are in the drivers seat the left side of the screen unable to be seen because it sits so far back in the pocket. Get the 2003 pocket and finisher, trust me it is soooooo much easier. No cutting or anything. I have the alpine tme-770 and it looks great. Looks like it came from the factory. Took like 45 min to install. It is the way to go

I like the sliding door as well. I am very happy with my 03 compartment. the 04 door opens out and looks trashy, if you are installing a screen that is
