My Subs Hit Hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I recently built my own sub box for two 10s to fit under the strut bar in the trunk (kinda like the ones you've all seen except mines alot longer). I put audiobahn aw1006t 10s in it with only a 600 watt amp. After I got everything installed and finished I finally got it in there and they hit hard, really hard. It lasted a couple of days fine and then I turned it up one day and my rear window SHATTERS. I couldn't believe it I was pissed but at the same time proud to know that the box I made was very effective.

He's full of ****, I just saw something about this on mythbusters, they did it with a home made sub that took up the entire cabin of the car and ran off of the transmission. A seal blew out long before any windows blew.

It did really happen but I got it replaced the next day and didn't get any pics. And I am sure as hell not trying to start my own box bussiness cause building that box isn't somthing i want to do again any time soon. These subs are 10s but loud 10s they handle 1800 watt max (900 RMS) and a bigger magnet than most 12s and the box I made for them was exactly to the subs specs. I was very suprised this happened to but just because somone throws 3 JL subs in any box so they are basically fighting each other for air dosen't mean they are competition bound.

While I doubt the claim as well, pressure is not the only way to break glass out of a car. Find the resonant frequency, then slightly raise the frequency, and the glass can break. For the terminally clueless, it would require a signal generator.

First of all you can break glass with an audio system. You probably could with 600w rms. The thing you need to look at is box design and not wattage. This brings up a few questions for the op. Is the box sealed or ported, if ported how much port space? Also don't go throwing wattage numbers around A-bahns are terrible for overrating their power handling. What amp do you have? I have a hard time believing that without fiberglassing a ported box that takes up nearly the whole trunk and running a true 600w rms that this would happen. Maybe a rock hit the glass while you were playing or something.

at least use a brand tahts not audiobahn when making a claim like this
sub in names like mmats, linear power, or DD and people may acutally believe it more
i have a theory though, since those 18.00 watt RMS AUdiobahn subs (audiobahn sometimes forget to put hte decimal in their power ratings ) probably shot its voice coil through the cone and shattered the glass, now tahts something I have seen, after plugging a few awts into the wall socket at my old shop lol

If they couldnt shatter glass in the episode from Pimp my ride featuring an MTX Sledge hammer in a Buick (23 inches tall weighing in at 369 pounds) Then you sure as hell arent going to shatter glass with anything audiobahn makes:

You sir are full of $hit
Pretty convenient:
Cause every glass store in town carries Z hatch glass.... Are you one of the twins?
