can u do video bypass on this unit with just grounding the e-brake??

 

Ipod video plays perfect with no bypass needed.

ebrake wire ground for full functions. no toggle switchs, just ground.

album art looks great, ill take a pic if op doesnt.

on the 7100 there is a mini usb cable plugged into ur deck, you need to use this for image uploads.

yeah it irritated me that you cant upload your ipod pics to the headunit, that is why i routed my ipod to the center armrest. the usb port can then be accessed under the shift boot for thumb drive access.

 

wat are the steps to remove the actual center dash, i need to reinstall mine. thanks

 

check out the diy sub-forum.....takes about 5-10 min to get it out.

but...
-lift up on shifter surrond and remove.
-removed screws on lower latch on upper cubby hole
-remove all visible screws shown.
-pull towards you
-unclip......gauges, A/C, Radio...you're done!
