Well, I was busy this entire weekend so didn't have a chance to complete the install. I did make small progress though. I test fit the new 2inch mounting bolts I purchased recently, through the sub's mounting holes. The bolts did not work. The outer rim of the sub has a rubber ring that is about 1/4 inch thick. Theoretically, the head of the bolts is suppose to sink into the rubber out of sight. In my case, the bolts I purchased have a large phillups head on them. It was too large to sink into the rubber ring. The old allen head bolts I had are only 1 1/2 inch, which is too short.
I made a trip to Lowe's harware and found 2 inch allen head bolts. They fit perfect. Hopefully tonight I can complete the install.
I snapped a few pics of the FI Q vs. my old Rockford T1. I used a can of Neverdull for size reference......

I don't want something for extreme bass. I would like something that sounds good. I do want a sufficient amount of bass but not overboard.

I don't think they make a 10" FI Q though.
Who makes these two? RD Classic and RE se or sx......nevermind. I found em.
