Those seats and your car’s interior look just great. Do I understand correctly that I can purchase this car seat from your store?

About interior shots:

You cannot use the camera’s built-in flash or even a flash mounted on the camera’s hot-shoe. Doing this produces “hot spots” requiring a lot of cleanup in PhotoShop.

For best results, you need to use a remote flash mounted away from the camera’s lens. Depending upon the shot, you could use a remote flash with a diffuser (for tight shots), or bounce the flash off the car’s headliner for an even light distribution. The idea is to get soft and evenly diffused lighting.

BTW: Your most recent pictures are looking pretty decent.

We have another pair of seats in stock.

http://z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?model...or&prodid=2996

The bases and sliders are sold separately. The bases and sliders are $340 shipped for the pair.

I’m interested in your point #7 (drill out factory grilles and re-wrap in windsong) in your initial post (#1) on your thread.

Your picture of the door grille solution:

Could you provide more detail on your front door grille replacement?

the stock grilles were drilled out and the entire thing was re-wrapped in windsong. Thought about cutting them and rewrapping but was worried about it bunching up so this seemed the best method to us

^^ It certainly looks good (much better than OEM). Not sure I understand all that you did to accomplish this.

Does this improve sound from your Focals?

That's an MX406 unit, not MC.

And what sub do you have that you need a McIntosh amp for?

Sub is listed in the first post.

I can tell by your tone that you are looking to turn this into a debate about the necessity of a McIntosh amp for a specific application, please refrain from doing so if that is your intention.

It's hard for me to say how much of an improvement it made, since I also changed to an amp with more power and active vs passive crossovers, plus we changed the speakers position inside the door. But as good as it sounded before, its on a different level now!

If you look at the stock speaker grille, it has a circular design to it. About 1/3 of the holes protrude all the way through the rest are just dimples. The shop drilled out the dimples and then wrapped the factory grille with the windsong to make it look factory appearing. However, I didn't want to completely cut away the factory grille as I was worried about damage to the soeaker from a runaway foot, etc This gave us the best of all worlds - lots of protection for the speaker itself for when you are getting in and out of the car, but still opening up the holes to let more sound through. Was really time consuming, but worth it in the end.

ghost - it's a Seas Lotus 10 inch sub. The amp I installed this time is a 6 channel. We bridged 2 channels to run the sub, and now each driver and each tweeter is amped with it's own channel as well. No one needs a McIntosh amp, it's simply a matter of want

^^ Thanks for taking time to provide the thorough explanation. I understand now why my Focals sound a little muffled. I’m going to copy your front speaker configuration, but will give you credit if anyone asks about it.

Good man. The same reason I buy McIntosh.
