Default my ghetto setup!!!

Here is my 10 inch Rockford Fostgate HX2

My JBL 600.1 amp located behind my seat.

My secret setup!!!

Its in the way but it sounds tight!

I had 2 15s in the trunk of my previous car and this new setup sounds just as loud! I dont want to move it now!

OMG, I am disgraced, you paid $26,000 + for that car and you put the box where? I am dying here.

If that is not ghetto I don't know what is.

HEY< WAIT A SEC, my friend had a JBL amp and a 12" RF sub stolen from his car a few days ago. HMMMMMMMMMMMMM, I'm calling the cops..........................to be continued............

That system is a disgrace. How about spend an extra $50-100 and get a box that fits behind the strut bar.

Everyone chip in so Ghetto boy can get a proper setup.

Nice car BTW, but it is ruined now. I guess you don't have any friends or a girlfriend, LOL.

Thumbs up

You may want to stop by Pepboys and pickup some chrome hubcaps to round out the package...

PLEASE say that sub location is only temporary, and that you will not have wires running all over the place in your car!

haters!

you guys are missing the point here...

this **** sounds tight. Its all about how the box was made (ie correct sq ft) and where the location of the box is.

IF i mount the sub in the space behind the seat its going to sound like ****.

For one, there is too much room. And second the sub is faceing the wrong way, the sound has nothing to bounce off against.

During the weekdays I dont really carry any people in my car, i have my own things going.. (work, school, etc). And when i do carry a lot of people (more than 2) I take my spec V .

Yes this is temporary untill i find a better location, that box will not in that low profile trunk, so i'll have to make something else.

That (1) 12 can fit in a box behind the strut bar (notice, I didn't say under it). All you need is .065 cubic feet for a sealed box.

I have 2 of them and they fit nice (fiberglass though)

You just have to get someone to build it for you. That box you have there is a PRE-FAB box, thats why its so bulky or you took it from a previous car.

Get an installer to build you the correct box for the Z and you will be happier, trust me, PLUS it won't look so GHETTO in the front seat.

Also, please install that amp correctly, that is completely Ghetto. I could see if you had a Dodge Peon or something, LOL.

Its your ride, do what you want though.

K-mart still has that sell, for those imitation spinners if your still interested, $30 for the set of 4.

OH WAIT, I didn't see the HATER part.

Listen, you are the one that posted this. So get ready for the negative posts.

But heck, guess I'll be honest, I am jealous, wish I had no friends so I could put my subs in the FRONT PASSENGER SEAT also.

One thing is for sure, you make it so easy for thieves to steal your stuff.

WAIT, just get a lock and a chain and that should secure your valuables. Post pics once they are secured. I would like to see them.

actually the amp sits inside that space and I ran all the wires through the center console or around to the passenger side kick. SO no wires are showing besides the speaker wire that comes out the side the center console. I'm able to put that plastic cover back on and no one would know that I had an amp back there.

I bought that sub off some guy and he gave me the box for free, I decided i couldn't wait any longer so i threw that box in the only place it would fit.

Thats a real interesting conculsion you made, since I have a box in my passenger seat that I have no friends. You must be a MD or something simliar.

man, you guys are harsh. this kid can't help his own stupidity, lighten up. but personally, if i did that to my car, i'd stick a shotgun in my mouth, load it, and pull the trigger.......(twice just to make sure). but who knows, maybe the acoustics of a passenger side sub is something none of us have discovered.....

The only thing missing is those custom leather seat covers. You know the ones I'm talking about. Witness the super puffy 3000:
