Congrats on the new job and good luck, Greg.
I am looking for the same set up for a project car that I'm working on. Has this system worked for you. If so would you mind sharing the wiring diagram w\the parts used for this project, OR IS THIS KIT AVAILIBLE FOR PURCHASE?

thanks

Richard

The set-up has worked for me but I'm on the first revision/redesign of the circuit and I won't put up a shcematic until I know it works. I plan on assembling and selling a couple of complete kits to try and recoup some of my money and the countless hours I've spent designing and testing.

I'm currently working on the first circuit revision/redesign and I don't have a schematic that I'm comfortable sharing as a DIY until I know that it'll work properly. I plan on assembling and selling a couple of completed kits to try and recoup the hundreds of dollars I've spent on parts (not to mention the countless labor hours). I'll give updates as things progress.

The project Im working on is a classic truck, no high tech electronics and not fuel injected. I am looking for a simple keyless ignition system. The fact that you hold the start button in until the vehicle starts is perfect for a carburated motor. Something simply with the WOW factor!

If you just want to use the push button to start only, then you basically just need the Altima push button, part number 25150-JA00A, and a SPST or SPDT 12 volt 30 amp automotive relay. A diagram of the pins located on the back-side of the push button (and their functions) are below:

Old American cars had it where you turn the key and then press a little button located above the ignition.

Good luck with your project there. If you do get it to work, I'd be interested in picking up a kit from you.

Default Update....

First off, WOW - I didn't realize so many were interested. Second, I'm still working on a complete redesign of the kit to make it as user-friendly for installation as possible. I really hope to have at least one completed kit available for sale sometime in the next two weeks. I haven't really decided on pricing yet but figure, tentatively, $150.00 or so. I will definitley update when I have pics and/or operational details of the revised kit. Thanks again to all for their interest.

fantastic job. The main reason I never installed a s2k switch was I wanted the thing to stop the engine as well. Looks awsome. really cool.

When you get finished. just let us know I will mail you a money order, and then you can mail me the product. I trust ya. I dont have a paypal account.
